Is BloFin Available in Nigeria? (2026)
Yes — BloFin accepts Nigerian users. Nigeria is not among the 43 Restricted Locations in clause 6.1 of BloFin’s Terms of Use of 3 July 2026, and a Basic account opens on an email address alone, with a 20,000 USDT daily withdrawal ceiling. What BloFin does not give you is a naira rail: funding runs through crypto you already hold.
Is BloFin available in Nigeria right now?
Yes. Nigeria is absent from the 43 Restricted Locations listed in clause 6.1 of BloFin’s Terms of Use of 3 July 2026, so Nigerian residents can register and trade. Eleven African countries do appear on that list — among them Angola, Cameroon, Mali, Somalia and Zimbabwe — so this is a real distinction, not a default.
Read the wording before you rely on it. Clause 6.1 says the platform may not be used by anyone who is “resident of, or domiciled in” a Restricted Location. Residence is where you live now; domicile is the permanent home a legal system attributes to you, and it does not reset because you rented a flat abroad. Citizenship is never mentioned — the words citizen, national and passport do not appear in the Terms at all.
The full list and our read on why each entry is there sits in the BloFin restricted countries guide.
The no-KYC angle, and where it stops
This is why most Nigerian traders look at BloFin at all. Registration creates a Basic (Lv 0) account on an email address or phone number with no documents, and BloFin’s verification article puts a 20,000 USDT cumulative withdrawal limit on that level per 24 hours. Futures are not throttled at any level — only the withdrawal ceiling moves.
| KYC level | What you hand over | 24h withdrawal limit | Futures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic (Lv 0) | Email or phone only — no documents | 20,000 USDT | No limit |
| Personal info (Lv 1) | ID, passport or licence + selfie | 1,000,000 USDT | No limit |
| Address proof (Lv 2) | Proof of address | 2,000,000 USDT | No limit |
How Nigerians actually fund a BloFin account
With crypto, not with naira. BloFin is a derivatives venue: the documented route in is a transfer of USDT or another supported asset from a wallet or exchange you already use. A direct naira deposit or NGN P2P desk on BloFin is ⚠ Not confirmed — check the live deposit screen before you plan around it.
In practice that means a two-step path for most people: buy USDT with naira somewhere that runs an NGN P2P market — Bitget announced zero-fee naira P2P in February 2026, reported by Punch, BusinessDay and ThisDay — then move the USDT across. Two habits protect you on any P2P desk: release crypto only after the naira has cleared in your own bank app, and keep the whole conversation inside the platform’s escrow and chat.
The product is derivatives-first. BloFin’s public market API listed 476 live perpetual contracts when we checked it on 25 August 2026. Only two of them — BTC-USDT and ETH-USDT — run at 150x; four sit at 125x, fourteen at 100x, and the rest at 75x or below. Base futures fees are 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker.
Nigeria’s crypto rules in 2026
Crypto is regulated, not banned. The Investments and Securities Act 2025, which repealed the Investments and Securities Act No. 29 of 2007, brought digital assets into the perimeter of Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission. That ended years of ambiguity in which exchanges operated beside the rulebook rather than inside it.
It does not make every offshore platform locally registered. BloFin’s Terms name no Nigerian authorisation, and it is not a name we could find on the SEC’s register of operators. ⚠ Not confirmed — verify with the SEC directly if local registration matters to you.
| Exchange | Nigeria status | KYC to start | Naira rail |
|---|---|---|---|
| BloFin | ✓ Available | Optional at Lv 0 | ⚠ Not confirmed — verify |
| KuCoin | ✓ Available | Mandatory | ⚠ Not confirmed — verify |
| Bitget | ✓ Available | Mandatory | Naira P2P, zero-fee announced Feb 2026 |
| Bybit | ⚠ Verify | Required | On-ramps shift |

How to get started on BloFin from Nigeria
Five steps. The one that costs people money is the third: funding through a P2P desk without waiting for the naira to actually land.
- Register with an email or phone number — Basic (Lv 0), no documents.
- Buy USDT with naira on a platform that runs an NGN market, then transfer it to BloFin.
- On any P2P trade, release crypto only after the naira has cleared in your own bank app, and stay inside the platform’s escrow and chat.
- Keep withdrawals under the 20,000 USDT daily ceiling if you are staying unverified, or verify at Lv 1 to lift it to 1,000,000 USDT.
- Keep your own records — Nigerian tax and reporting rules apply to you personally, not to an offshore exchange.

Frequently asked questions
Is BloFin available in Nigeria in 2026?
Yes. Nigeria is not among the 43 Restricted Locations in clause 6.1 of BloFin’s Terms of Use dated 3 July 2026, so Nigerian residents can register and trade. Eleven African countries are on that list, so the absence is a real distinction.
Can I use BloFin in Nigeria without KYC?
You can start without documents. Basic (Lv 0) is the default on registration and carries a 20,000 USDT cumulative withdrawal limit per 24 hours. Lv 1 verification raises that to 1,000,000 USDT. BloFin can still request documents at any point, and sanctions screening applies at every level.
Does BloFin support naira deposits?
We could not confirm a direct naira deposit or an NGN P2P market on BloFin, and its Terms describe a crypto-funded derivatives venue. The practical route is to buy USDT with naira on a platform that runs NGN markets, then transfer it in. Check the live deposit screen first.
Is crypto legal in Nigeria?
Yes. The Investments and Securities Act 2025 repealed the Investments and Securities Act No. 29 of 2007 and brought digital assets under the oversight of the Securities and Exchange Commission, putting crypto inside Nigeria’s regulated perimeter rather than outside the law.
Is BloFin registered with the Nigerian SEC?
We could not confirm any Nigerian registration for BloFin, and its Terms name no local authorisation. Not being restricted is not the same as being locally registered — check the SEC’s register of operators directly if that matters for your money.
What can I trade on BloFin from Nigeria?
Perpetual futures, mainly. BloFin’s public market API listed 476 live perpetual contracts on 25 August 2026, with BTC-USDT and ETH-USDT the only pairs at 150x. Base futures fees are 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker, and leverage is available at every verification level.
