Is BloFin Available in the UK? (2026)
Yes — the United Kingdom is not among the 43 Restricted Locations in clause 6.1 of BloFin’s Terms of Use of 3 July 2026, and BloFin publishes the FCA-mandated risk warning for UK users. That warning is the important part: the Financial Ombudsman will not consider complaints about the firm, and the FSCS does not protect your money.
Is BloFin available in the UK right now?
Yes. The United Kingdom does not appear among the 43 Restricted Locations in clause 6.1 of BloFin’s Terms of Use of 3 July 2026, and BloFin treats UK users as a named audience rather than as traffic it tolerates: it publishes a dedicated risk warning for UK users in the FCA-mandated form. Among the big offshore venues that is unusual — MEXC restricts the UK outright, and Bybit rebuilt its UK access through an FCA-regulated partner.
Read the wording before you rely on it. Clause 6.1 says the platform may not be used by anyone who is “resident of, or domiciled in” a Restricted Location. Residence is where you live now; domicile is the permanent home a legal system attributes to you, and it does not reset because you rented a flat abroad. Citizenship is never mentioned — the words citizen, national and passport do not appear in the Terms at all.
What the FCA rules actually change for you
They change what you can be sold, and what happens if it goes wrong — not whether you can click sign-up. Since 8 October 2023 the FCA’s financial-promotions regime has applied to every firm marketing cryptoassets to UK consumers, “regardless of whether the firm is based overseas”. The FCA has also prohibited the sale of derivatives and exchange-traded notes referencing cryptoassets to retail consumers, and on 30 June 2026 it published final rules for firms that will hold FSMA permission from 25 October 2027.
So the honest read for a UK retail trader is: BloFin’s core product is leveraged crypto derivatives, which sit inside the FCA’s retail prohibition, and BloFin is not an FCA-authorised firm. ⚠ Not confirmed — verify its status on the FCA register yourself.
What UK users get, and what they give up
They get an account that opens without documents and futures that are not level-gated. They give up every UK consumer protection. Basic (Lv 0) is the registration default per BloFin’s verification article, with a 20,000 USDT cumulative withdrawal limit per 24 hours.
| KYC level | What you hand over | 24h withdrawal limit | Futures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic (Lv 0) | Email or phone only — no documents | 20,000 USDT | No limit |
| Personal info (Lv 1) | ID, passport or licence + selfie | 1,000,000 USDT | No limit |
| Address proof (Lv 2) | Proof of address | 2,000,000 USDT | No limit |
The product is derivatives-first. BloFin’s public market API listed 476 live perpetual contracts when we checked it on 25 August 2026. Only two of them — BTC-USDT and ETH-USDT — run at 150x; four sit at 125x, fourteen at 100x, and the rest at 75x or below. Base futures fees are 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker.
UK at a glance: which exchange takes you
The UK splits the field three ways: open (BloFin, Bitget spot), restricted (MEXC), and rebuilt through a regulated partner (Bybit).
| Exchange | UK status | What sits behind it |
|---|---|---|
| BloFin | ✓ Available | Not on clause 6.1; publishes the FCA risk warning |
| KuCoin | ✓ Available | UK not named in Article 17(5) of its Terms |
| Bitget | ⚠ With limits | Spot only; no retail crypto derivatives |
| Bybit | ⚠ Limited | UK access via FCA-regulated partner Archax |
| MEXC | ✗ Restricted | UK on its restricted list |
Side by side: Bitget in the UK, Bybit in the UK and KuCoin in the UK.
How to open a BloFin account from the UK
Register with your real UK details, read the risk warning before you agree to it, fund in crypto and keep your own records for HMRC. The exchange will not do any of that for you.
- Register with an email or phone number. Basic (Lv 0) needs no documents.
- Read BloFin’s UK risk warning in full — it is the FCA-mandated text, not marketing.
- Fund by transferring crypto from a wallet you control. A GBP card or bank route is ⚠ Not confirmed.
- Size positions for a venue with no FSCS cover: what you send is what you can lose.
- Keep your trade history. UK capital-gains reporting on crypto disposals is your obligation, not BloFin’s. ⚠ Not confirmed — verify with an accountant for your own case.

Frequently asked questions
Is BloFin available in the UK in 2026?
Yes. The United Kingdom is not among the 43 Restricted Locations in clause 6.1 of BloFin’s Terms of Use dated 3 July 2026, and BloFin publishes a dedicated FCA-mandated risk warning for UK users rather than blocking the market.
Is BloFin regulated by the FCA?
We could not confirm any FCA authorisation or cryptoasset registration for BloFin, and the risk warning it publishes for UK users points the other way. Check the FCA register directly before you deposit — being available in a market is not the same as being authorised in it.
Does the FSCS protect money held on BloFin?
No. The risk warning BloFin publishes for UK users states that the Financial Services Compensation Scheme does not protect the investment and that the Financial Ombudsman Service will not consider complaints about the firm. There is no UK backstop if the platform fails.
Can UK retail traders use crypto derivatives?
Not from an FCA-authorised firm. The FCA prohibited the sale of derivatives and exchange-traded notes referencing cryptoassets to retail consumers, which is why Bitget offers UK users spot markets only. Offshore venues outside that perimeter carry no UK protection at all.
Do I need KYC to trade on BloFin from the UK?
No, not to start. Basic (Lv 0) opens on an email or phone number with a 20,000 USDT cumulative withdrawal limit per 24 hours. Lv 1 verification raises that ceiling to 1,000,000 USDT, and futures access is the same at every level.
Which exchanges restrict the UK?
MEXC lists the United Kingdom on its restricted list. Bybit rebuilt UK access through FCA-regulated partner Archax with a narrower product set, while Bitget serves UK users spot-only. BloFin and KuCoin do not name the UK in their terms at all.
