KuCoin Referral Code September 2026: CXEEJUPY — What It Pays
KuCoin referral code CXEEJUPY goes into the referral field when the account is created. Per KuCoin’s published programme terms, the inviter earns 25% of your trading fees from the day your identity verification is approved until the end of that month, and can pass part of it back as cashback. Commissions run for 365 days, not for life.
Paste it into the referral field on the sign-up form. Commission only starts once the new account completes identity verification, so the code alone does nothing until KYC is approved.
We may earn a commission if you open an account via our links. It does not change your fees.
What code CXEEJUPY actually gets you
Less than most pages imply, and it is worth knowing before you sign up. KuCoin’s programme pays the referrer a commission on your trading fees; whatever reaches you is cashback the referrer chooses to hand back, capped at their current commission rate. KuCoin’s referral programme terms set the rules out in full, and they are unusually explicit about the mechanics.
| Who | What the programme pays | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| You, the invited user | Cashback out of the referrer’s commission, at whatever rate the referrer sets | Zero unless the referrer sets a rate; it is not a KuCoin-funded discount |
| The referrer | 25% of your trading fees from the day your KYC is approved to the end of that month | Re-assessed on the 1st of every month against last month’s performance |
| Both | Newcomer campaigns advertised on the sign-up page | Amounts rotate ⚠ check the screen on the day you register |
The starting rate is fixed and dated: “when a new user registers and completes KYC verification, the referrer earns a 25% commission on their trading fees from the day KYC is completed until the end of that month”. From the 1st of the following month the rate is recalculated automatically from the referrer’s previous-month performance, and the referrer/referee split is rebased in proportion — KuCoin’s own worked example moves a 20% rate with 15% cashback to a 35% rate with 26% cashback.
The part most referral-code pages leave out
Six conditions decide what the code is really worth, all of them from KuCoin’s published programme terms. The three that catch people out: commissions stop 365 days after the invited account registers, they stop entirely once that account reaches VIP Lv. 3, and the programme is closed to residents of Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
- It is not lifetime. Commissions run for 365 days after the invited user registers, and nothing is generated beyond that.
- Heavy traders stop counting. Once an invited user reaches VIP Lv. 3 or above, their trading fees no longer generate any commission.
- KYC is compulsory on both sides. Only users who have completed identity verification are eligible to take part, and commission on your account starts from the day your verification is approved.
- Not every trade counts. Spot, margin, trading bots, ETFs and futures qualify. API trading is not eligible, and other trade types are excluded.
- Three countries are barred from the programme. It is not available to residents of Belgium, France and the Netherlands, and France and the Netherlands are also fully restricted from the platform under Article 17.
- Payouts are daily but revocable. Commissions settle daily and land the following day, yet KuCoin reserves the right to disqualify a participant and revoke earned commissions, with its decisions stated to be final.
How to apply the KuCoin referral code (step by step)
Enter CXEEJUPY during registration, then finish identity verification — the second step is what actually switches the referral relationship on. The whole process is short, but the commission clock starts on the day your KYC is approved, not on the day you register.
- Open the KuCoin sign-up form (the button above carries the code through).
- Register with an email address or phone number and set a password.
- Put CXEEJUPY in the referral code field before you submit the form.
- Complete identity verification — the programme is only open to verified users, and your referrer’s 25% starting rate runs from the day it is approved.
- Fund the account and trade spot, margin, bots, ETFs or futures; API trades will not count.
- If you were promised cashback, check the rate in the referral section — it is set by the referrer, not by KuCoin, and it is recalculated every month.
Where the code works — and where KuCoin will not onboard you
The block comes before the reward logic, so in a restricted location no code produces an account. Article 17(5) of the Terms of Use, last updated 29 July 2026, names the United States and its territories, Singapore, mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ontario and British Columbia, France, the Netherlands and five occupied regions of Ukraine.
- Full, dated list and the reasons behind each entry: KuCoin restricted countries 2026.
- In France, the Netherlands or Belgium? The referral programme excludes all three regardless of trading access — EU residents should look at a MiCA-authorised venue such as Bybit in France.
- Blocked where you are? Compare Bybit’s code, Bitget’s code, MEXC’s code and BloFin’s code.
What we earn, and what it costs you
When you register with CXEEJUPY, KuCoin pays us a percentage of the trading fees you already owe under its published fee schedule — 25% for the remainder of the month in which your verification is approved, then a rate reset monthly against the previous month’s referral volume. The commission is carved out of KuCoin’s revenue, not added to your bill.
What that means for you: the code does not raise your fees and it does not lower them. Any cashback has to be set deliberately by the referrer out of that same commission, so treat a promised percentage as a claim to verify in your own account rather than a platform feature. Before funding anything, read the restricted list and the regulatory history on our KuCoin restricted countries page and compare the platform against MEXC in KuCoin vs MEXC.
Frequently asked questions
Is the KuCoin referral code CXEEJUPY valid in 2026?
Yes. CXEEJUPY is a live KuCoin referral code and the code itself does not expire — KuCoin describes the referral programme as a long-term incentive with no current end date. What changes is the rate behind it, which the system recalculates on the 1st of each month, and any newcomer campaign running on the day you register.
Do I have to complete KYC for the code to work?
Yes. KuCoin’s programme terms limit eligibility to registered users who have completed identity verification, and the referrer’s 25% starting commission runs from the day the invited account’s KYC is completed until the end of that month. Until verification is approved, entering the code changes nothing.
Does the referral commission last forever?
No. Commissions are generated from an invited user’s eligible trading for 365 days after they register, and nothing is paid beyond that period. There is a second cut-off as well: if the invited user reaches VIP Lv. 3 or above, their trading fees stop generating commission altogether.
What do I actually receive as the invited user?
Whatever cashback the referrer chooses to share, up to their current commission rate, distributed automatically once it is set. KuCoin also advertises newcomer rewards on the sign-up page, but the amounts rotate with the campaign of the day, so the honest answer is to read the sign-up screen rather than trust a fixed number on a review page.
Which trades generate a referral commission?
Spot trading, including margin and trading bots, plus ETFs and futures trades. API trading is not eligible, and other trade types are excluded at present. Commissions are calculated on the actual trading fees paid by the invited user, paid in the same currency, and settled daily to the referrer’s account the following day.
Can I use a KuCoin referral code in France, the Netherlands or Belgium?
No. France and the Netherlands are Restricted Locations under Article 17(5), so the account itself is not available, and KuCoin’s referral programme separately states that it is not available to residents of Belgium, France and the Netherlands. EU residents who want a licensed venue should compare a MiCA-authorised exchange instead.
Does using the code cost me anything?
No. The commission comes out of the trading fees you already owe under KuCoin’s published fee schedule rather than being added on top, and the code does not move your fee tier in either direction. It also gives you no fee discount by itself — only the cashback rate the referrer sets, if they set one.
